This merchant advertised a TV with full manufacturers warranty and when I received my order and registered the TV with Samsung I was advised by Samsung that the warranty has expired some 5 months earlier. I immediately explained this to the merchant and what followed was them initially saying they could still provide the warranty to them not being able to provide the warranty. Furthermore i received numerous messages calling me all kinds of names. Very unprofessional. I would avoid at all costs

Hi Shaun We have reported this review as 1 This is still an ongoing case with ebay 2 You have provided a false representation of the case especially as you intimidated a courier who came to collect our tv back since you were not compliant for us to resolve your issue instead you told him your family were watching it and lied you were not going to be in for collection only to be found home. we take our customer satisfaction seriously please show proof of any names we called if this is true Thanks

    Great picture crappy sound

    This is to possibly replace a 42 inch from years back. Image quality is very good, vertical tearing is much reduced too. Didn't have to adjust settings much to get a good picture. It's framed well, not too heavy and can be installed by one person. There's two remotes, again this is handy for us, I've opted for the smaller one again as most of the functionality often used are on it and easy to find without looking at it. The smaller remote is charged with solar power, this will an issue eventually when the battery fails as its a sealed unit. The TV has terrible sound quality, much worse than the old 42" and that wasn't good either. It's like listening to sound down a drain pipe, no bass to speak of, hollow sounding tinny garbage. Using this TV as a screen only would be my advice, ...

    ONLY OK WARRENTY CLAIM SYSTEM DIFFICULT AND CONFUSING

    These tv's are ok but the sound is rubbish they are not as good as the 10 year old Panasonic it replaced also the warranty is a nightmare both the 5year tv and the 10year screen burn I was on the phone for 50 minutes to a call center whom I couldn't understand and I had to spell out every word to the operator my son finally did it for me on the web I complained to Buy It direct who did reply but were of little help I have many samsung appliances but probably wouldn't buy any more Go back to the warranty card in the box system And I would probably not use Buy it direct again not very helpfull
